It was pretty Meh for me and Lloyd. Once the FP hype died down it fell off the radar completely.
Oddly.. My parents had to beg me to see Gran Torino. I wrote it off as another heart jerker. Like Bridges of Madison County. I refused for a long time. Now? It’s a favorite.

Did you see the B/W version? I saw it originally in IMAX, worth it. I followed the filming sneak peeks for years, felt like forever! I saw all the vehicles and all the delays, torture. I watched the originals back then so this was a cool thing.

This movie has almost ruined action movies for me. Anything that attempts the “simple plot, lots of action” formula just makes me sad when I compare it to Fury Road.
